It teaches about Photograph manipulation with negative and digital imaging.

Module Briefing

This part outlines the course structure, including what students will learn, assignments, and evaluation criteria. It sets clear expectations for developing skills in photography and imaging, helping understand how each assignment contributes to my overall growth.

Past Student Work

Analyzing previous students' projects provides inspiration and insight into the creative process. It helps us see what’s achievable and learn from others’ successes and challenges, guiding me in my own projects throughout the module.

PRATICAL:

We've been asked to list down 3 favourite graphic design composition work from Pinterest.
Explain them why do I like the designs.

Design #1:

Description:
The combination of Japanese and English text along with the black-and-white palette gives the poster a timeless, almost classic manga feel. The typography and central imagery are bold, making an immediate impact. It conveys the essence of Akira in a visually striking way—chaos, power, and futurism.Akira is iconic in both Japanese and global pop culture, and the poster reflects that legacy, offering a design that feels both artistic and meaningful.

Design #2:

Description:The image succeeds in creating an immersive, nostalgic experience. The playful use of space and perspective, combined with recognizable game elements, draws viewers into a "world of games."The collage feels chaotic but intentionally so—capturing the fun, fast-paced nature of retro games.

Design #3:

Description:

The visual hierarchy is spot-on. The focus on the lead character, with supporting figures and elements, ensures that the viewer understands the main narrative of the image. The color contrast makes the characters pop, and the image effectively conveys the intense, futuristic vibe of the game Valorant.

It’s sleek, professional, and consistent with the high-energy aesthetic of the game.
