SHOOTING PRACTISE & EDITING
1. EEAAO Production Shoot
Final Clips & Audio:
REFLECTION
Experience:
This task was my first in-depth experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, and it was definitely more complex than the simple editing apps I’m used to. I enjoyed the process of working on the video shoot with my team—it was a great chance to bond and practice real production roles. Acting as part of the production made me appreciate how much teamwork and coordination is required behind the scenes. Editing with Premiere Pro helped me understand how much control professionals have over every detail, from timing to effects.
Observation:
I noticed that time management during editing is quite challenging. Keeping the video concise while maintaining the story flow requires careful planning. I also saw how important teamwork is during the shoot—everyone’s role is essential for a smooth production. The use of colour grading and transitions like cross dissolves can really influence the mood and storytelling of the final video.
Findings:
Through this task, I realized that video production is a complex but rewarding process that demands patience, creativity, and collaboration. Although I found Premiere Pro challenging at first, I’m motivated to keep improving my skills. This experience gave me a clearer idea of the effort that goes into professional video work and inspired me to explore this field further.
