LECTURES
- In this week's lecture, we focused on discussing the basic knowledge of composition.
- We learned key concepts such as creating focus, using proportion and hierarchy to guide the audience's eyes, achieving balance between elements, and effectively using space to enhance layout.
- In addition, we also explored techniques such as thirds and golden ratio to create visually appealing and harmonious designs.
- Finally, we discussed methods for framing and cropping that help define boundaries and enhance the overall composition of an image or design.
This project aims to create a visual collage that conveys a story or theme through thoughtful design.
Selecting Design Elements and Tools:
Start by gathering images, shapes, and textures from magazines, books, or other sources that match the theme. Use suitable tools to cut these elements precisely. Focus on aligning with design principles like balance and contrast to strengthen the overall message of the collage.
Pre-Compositing:
Arrange the selected elements in various ways to explore different layouts and achieve visual harmony. Take photos of each arrangement as possible options for the final collage. This step helps to experiment with the composition and refine the layout before finalizing the design.
