- The skectch of poster layout can be not that rough.
- Too much information and steps, manage them into one poster can be a chanllege.
- None of not original images could be used in this assignment.
- Adobe Illustrator could be helpful for the continious work in After Effect.
Project 1 - Instructable Poster
-After repeatedly watching YouTube videos, I summarized and wrote down a materials list and the overall production steps.

Figure 3.3
- Then I drew a layout sketch for the poster.
- Since I'm not proficient at drawing directly with the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator, I first tried drawing using Procreate, and later converted the images to SVG using image tracing.

Figure 3.6
- I drew each individual item.

Figure 3.7
- I grouped and arranged them according to the pre-drawn sketches.

Figure 3.8
- I added a background.

Figure 3.9
- I transferred everything to Adobe Illustrator for further design.

Figure 3.10
- I added text descriptions for each step.

Figure 3.11
- I added a title and its layout design, and added the Italian flag.

Figure 3.12
- I added other border designs and decorations.

Figure 3.13
- Finally, I created a new white-gray solid color layer, added a texture effect as a filter to enhance the poster's texture.

REFLECTION
For Project 1, I created an Instructable Infographics Poster based on a selected recipe. This project focused on transforming a cooking process into a clear and visually engaging instructional design.
During this project, I learned how to break down a process into smaller steps and organize the information in a logical sequence. It was important to decide which parts of the recipe were most essential and how to present them clearly so that the audience could understand the instructions through visuals and text.
I also explored the use of graphical elements such as icons, layout, and simple illustrations to represent information. This helped me understand how infographics can simplify complex information and communicate it more effectively. At the same time, I needed to consider the overall composition, ensuring that the poster was visually balanced and easy to follow.
One of the challenges I faced was maintaining a balance between aesthetic design and information clarity. While I wanted the poster to look visually appealing, I also needed to ensure that the instructions remained clear and easy to understand. Another challenge was creating a consistent visual style that reflects the identity of the recipe.
Overall, this project helped me understand how infographics function as a tool for communication. I learned that a successful design should not only be visually attractive, but also effectively guide the audience through information in a structured and meaningful way.
