3. PROJECT 2B: POSTER DESIGN

Title: SHADES ON, WORRIES GONE

Description:

This is a very short quote, and it is very concrete.

According to the description of the quote, sunglasses became an essential element in the picture. I took a photo of myself wearing sunglasses in the sun as the theme of the whole picture, and posed with exaggerated cheerful expressions and postures to show a positive and happy attitude towards life, free from worries and free from worries.

I thought about the elements that match my quote and the picture to add to the design of the whole poster. In the end, I decided to boldly combine graffiti and real photos. Such a combination will amplify the atmosphere of freedom and no worries, and graffiti generally represents the simplicity and beauty of children.

I decided to use graffiti style design in the font of the poster to maintain the consistency of the elements in the design, making the picture rich but regular.

With the theme of waterside vacation, the photos show a positive attitude towards life through funny and happy expressions, colorful graffiti style fonts and decorations. Get rid of worries, put on sunglasses, and face the sun!

Reflective Writing

The degree of freedom in this assignment is very high, but it is also very challenging because we did not have clear guidance or reference for the completed product in this assignment, and the theme of the entire design was also determined by ourselves. This requires us to practice the techniques we usually master more, so that we can apply them more flexibly to express our designs. In addition, creativity is also very important. You need to consider what you want to do, what techniques you will use, and whether you can complete these techniques now.

The learning process is quite labor-intensive and time-consuming, but in fact, it is not very difficult. But it is very difficult to absorb the knowledge learned and apply it flexibly. Through this task, I realized the importance of accumulating experience. In addition to completing the homework assigned by the school, I may also need to practice continuously on my own.

I believe that forcing myself to complete is not enough to create good designs. I try not to treat this assignment as my own task, but rather as a hobby that I want to pursue. Through this approach, I feel more inspired and motivated. Despite facing many challenges, I also find the process of learning Photoshop increasingly interesting because the more I learn, the more I realize the power and versatility of this software's features.

In short, through this task, I have learned a lot, consolidated my previous knowledge, and accumulated more confidence.
